The Member of Parliament for Ejisu Constituency, Hon. Lawyer Kwabena Boateng, on Tuesday, 8th September, 2026, stormed Ejisu New Town as part of his ongoing Community Engagement and Donations Tour across the constituency.
The event, held at the Ejisu Pragyia Station, Adehyeɛ Grounds, brought together chiefs, elders, opinion leaders, polling station executives, and hundreds of constituents who gave the MP a rousing welcome.
Addressing the gathering, Hon. Kwabena Boateng delivered a powerful speech centered on development, accountability and sanitation.
According to him, one of the biggest challenges confronting the constituency is poor sanitation, and he is determined to deal with it drastically.
I want to drastically deal with the issue of sanitation. My plan is to make sure that every town in Ejisu Constituency gets a refuse dump container. No community should be left to struggle with filth,” the MP declared to loud applause.
The lawmaker also used the platform to give a detailed account of his stewardship, mentioning several projects he has finalized, those currently in the pipeline, and key interventions he is championing on the floor of Parliament for the benefit of Ejisu.
He emphasized that his engagement tour, themed “Reaching out, sharing love and supporting our community for a stronger tomorrow – Together we build, Together we win,” is to reconnect with the grassroots and listen to their concerns.
- In a politically charged moment, Hon. Kwabena Boateng openly appealed to the chiefs and people of Ejisu New Town Electoral Area to rally behind him and support his bid for re-election in the upcoming 2028 parliamentary elections.
The chiefs on their part commended the MP for his continuous presence in the constituency and assured him of their support.
The tour is expected to continue to other electoral areas in the coming days, with donations and community support packages.
