A new massive wholesale and retail shopping mall, Afrimall, belonging to Chinese nationals, has been officially opened in Kumasi.
The facility is strategically located by the roadside at Kwamo Adako Jachie, along the Ejisu-Accra Highway, making it easily accessible to traders and shoppers travelling on that stretch.
The opening ceremony was a memorable one, graced by high-profile personalities and stakeholders.
The Chiefs of Kwamo, who are the custodians of the land, were present to officially welcome the investors and offer their blessings for the business to thrive in the community.
Also in attendance was the Assembly Member for the area, Hon. Kuntu Blankson George, who commended the investors for choosing the area and noted that the project will create jobs for the youth.
Officials from the Ghana Standards Authority (National Standards Board), Ghana Police Service, Ghana National Fire Service, and Ghana Immigration Service were also present to ensure the facility meets all regulatory and safety standards.
Several residents, traders, and other invited guests also graced the occasion, making it a grand celebration.
Afrimall is expected to become the new wholesale destination for Kumasi, Ejisu, Juaben and beyond, offering affordable goods at wholesale prices.
Management of Afrimall expressed appreciation to the Chiefs of Kwamo and all stakeholders for their support and promised to provide quality and affordable products to Ghanaians.
